2018 Season starts with Estoril for Oncu Twins
The new chapter for Oncu Twins will start this weekend at this year’s opening round in Estoril. After the succesful test sessions Oncu brothers are adapting their new bikes with the help of the engineers. The test sessions were held under nice weather but rain is expecting during the race.
This Sunday’s race schedule is as follows:
ETC Race 1 (16 laps): 11.00
Moto2™ Race 1 (18 laps): 12.00
Moto3™ (17 laps): 13.00
ETC 2 Race 2 (16 laps): 14.00
Moto2™ Race 2 (18 laps): 15.00

The first round in Estoril comprises a two-race program for the Moto2™ and ETC categories, with one race in Moto3™. The European Kawasaki Z Cup returns this year to the FIM CEV Repsol although the first race won’t be until the second round of the season in Valencia on April 29.

Today didn’t go as expected…but it could have been worse. You’re both quick (very), but you don’t have to win from the front. Stay in touch and out of trouble. Let the others do the work and take the falls before the final laps. But then…I’ve never raced in my life…so you’d better get on with it and let me enjoy your talent from the outside.
Most impressed that you both finished today’s race…I don’t think any others who fell managed that. Certainly not with a point or gaining as you were. Keep it up…you (and others) make the season worth watching. Regards to Aki Ajo and the team. Have fun!
